Don’t get me wrong this is a great headset that will outperform all the headsets in the SteelSeries lineup. The only reason I didn’t give this headset a perfect rating is the high price tag and lack of premium features and perks you’d expect from something a top of the line product typically offers. SteelSeries definitely delivered a great headset that is deserving of the “Pro” model name. I don’t think I would recommend you use them outside of the occasional recreational audio mixing and mastering. But let me clarify, these are def initely a gaming and music listening headset first. I get a great range of audio that rivals my Sennheisers I use for mixing and mastering audio. If you are an audiophile and you put a lot of emphasis on your audio experience when it comes to your gaming sessions than this headsets for you. Swappable batteries with real time charge status on the base station have been a nice feature to have as well. Being able to control chat mix and other audio settings on the base station is really handy and makes for a great customizable experience that keeps you from hopping out to your desktop or title screen to tweak audio settings. SteelSeries makes a great line of headsets and the Pro Wireless takes everything fans love about their products to the next level. This headset was a big upgrade from my Arctis 1 wireless.
